From January to October 2014, Russia imported 4,000 tons of HIPS to LG chem, unchanged from the same period last year.

HIPS also has relatively large demand space in the Russian market. In the first 10 months of 2014, Russia imported 5,000 tons of HIPS to styrene, down slightly from 5,400 tons in the same period last year. In addition, Polimeri Europa's GPPS have a market share in Russia. In the january-october period, Russia imported a total of 1,750 tons of GPPS from the company, up from 1,880 tons a year earlier.

Meanwhile, collin's GPPS cargo fell sharply, while Russia's GPPS imports fell 34%. Notably, Russian demand for HIPS produced by Polimeri Europa dropped, with exports of HIPS to Russia down 32 percent in the january-october period from a year earlier.
