Development Trend of Fire-proof Material Technology

A lot of fire-proof material technology involves a lot of complicated contents. According to the principle of fire-proof technology selection, the technology selection is given, the development sequence is determined, and the required technology is classified as fire-proof coating technology, fire-proof board technology, fire-proof sealing material technology, fire-proof decoration material technology, etc. At home, we mainly adopt the idea of integrating the existing and mature technology imported from abroad with the integrated innovation after digestion and absorption as the supplement. In the field of fire technology being developed and to be developed in the world, we should select high and new technologies which have accumulated certain technology and have a significant impact on the fire industry in China, especially green technologies which can improve the quality of fire products and reduce production costs, integrate resources, concentrate efforts and give priority to development. That is to say, combining the selection principle and development approach of fire fighting technology, the selection and development sequence of fire fighting technology in China are made.
It can be seen from some new products that the market of fire-proof materials has changed in recent years. Starting from increasing product safety and practicability, improving durability, introducing energy-saving, resource-saving and cost-saving products, accelerating product renewal, is developing in the direction of high efficiency, energy-saving, environmental protection and saving.
Development of fire retardant coatings technology. Flame retardant is the key part of fire retardant coatings. In recent years, the research of flame retardant technology and the development and application of flame retardant products have attracted attention from all walks of life. The main development directions are: developing multi-effect, high efficiency, low water-soluble dehydration carbon-forming catalyst and foaming agent; rational combination of various flame retardants; combination modification of resins to improve the fire resistance and physical and chemical properties of fire retardant coatings; combination of intumescent and non-intumescent fire retardant coatings; inorganic halogen-free intumescent fire retardant coatings.
Technical development of fire-proof sealing materials. The building fire-proof plugging materials which have been successfully developed and widely used in fire-proof plugging projects in China are mainly obtained by adding brominated flame retardants. In the case of fire, although halogen materials have good flame retardant effect, they will release a large amount of smoke and hydrogen chloride gas, which can stimulate the eyes and respiratory system; hinder fire fighting and rescue work of firefighters and rescuers; and lead to corrosion of electrical system switches and other metal objects that can not be caused by fire alone. In recent years, more and more countries have enacted or promulgated decrees to test the combustion toxicity of certain products or to regulate the acid gases released from the use of certain products. It has become a trend in the field of flame retardants in the world to develop halogen-free flame retardants instead of halogen flame retardants.
