Establishment of China Flame Retardant Materials Industry Organization

On October 20, 2014, the Founding Conference of the Fire Retardant Professional Committee of the China Federation of Petroleum and Chemical Industries (hereinafter referred to as the Special Committee on Fire Retardant Materials) was solemnly held at Beijing University of Technology. Comrade Li Shousheng, Standing Vice President of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, Comrade Chen Jie, Vice President of Beijing University of Technology, Comrade Yuan Zhimin of Golden Hair Technology Co., Ltd., Comrade Hu Qianlin, Vice Mayor of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, and more than 100 members attended the founding meeting. The meeting was chaired by Hu Qianlin, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
Flame-retardant materials industry is an important industry in petroleum and chemical industry. High-end flame-retardant materials belong to the new material industry encouraged by the state. Over the past 30 years of reform and opening up, with the joint efforts of enterprises and research institutes, China's flame retardant industry has developed rapidly, and its total industrial output value has reached tens of billions of yuan. China has become a major producer and consumer of flame retardant materials in the world. In 2013, the total output of flame retardants reached 750,000 tons, antimony oxide, phosphorus-containing flame retardants, brominated flame retardants, magnesium oxide, alumina and so on. The output of flame retardant polymer materials is in the forefront of the world. A number of leading enterprises of flame retardant materials, such as blonde science and technology, Jiangsu Jacques, have emerged. They have played an important role in promoting the healthy development of downstream industries such as building materials, light industry and textiles, and ensuring the safety of people's lives and property. In particular, the development of high-end flame retardant materials is of great significance for the industry to speed up structural adjustment, cultivate new economic growth points and form new competitive advantages.
The Special Committee is a national, professional, mass and service non-governmental public organization in the flame retardant materials industry approved by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. It is composed of enterprises, institutions and social organizations in the flame retardant materials industry voluntarily. At present, it has about 40 member units. The Professional Committee of flame retardant materials will assist the government to carry out major research on the development planning, industrial policy, industry development trend and hot spots of the flame retardant materials industry, and provide basis for the government to formulate development planning and industrial policy; give full play to the role of "bridge" between the government and enterprises, actively coordinate and promote the implementation of the flame retardant materials planning, focusing on high-efficiency green. Development and construction services of major scientific research projects such as color flame retardants and low smoke and zero halogen flame retardant polymer materials; establishment of links between enterprises and the government; organization of demonstration and evaluation of major projects in the industry, such as project establishment, transformation, advanced investment, economy and feasibility; reflection of major issues in the development of the industry and demands of enterprises; putting forward relevant policy recommendations to maintain members Legal rights and interests.
The Special Committee on Flame Retardant Material has adopted the working rules and appointed Secretary-General Zhou Zhengmao of China Flame Retardant Society and Professor Wang Yuzhong of Sichuan University as members of the Expert Committee. The first board of directors was elected. The chairman of Jinfa Science and Technology Co., Ltd. Yuan Zhimin was elected as the chairman of the committee. Hu Qianlin, Deputy Secretary-General of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, Yu Xiaoning, Chairman of Shandong Dawn Polymer Materials Co., Ltd., Gao Xianguo, Chairman of Zhejiang Wansheng Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Suli Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. Mao Jinfeng, the general manager of Qingyuan Putiafur Chemical Co., Ltd. is solemn; Niu Minbu, the general manager of Jinan Taixing Fine Chemical Co., Ltd., Zhang Shengfei, the chairman of Shanghai Shenghua Cable Co., Ltd., Yang Guisheng, the chairman of Shanghai Jieshijie New Materials (Group) Co., Ltd., Li Guozhang, the chairman of Hubei Xingfa Chemical Group Co., Ltd., and Shouguangwei Donghua Chemical Co., Ltd. are limited. Yuan Dehong, Chairman of the Company, Yang Rongjie, Professor of Beijing University of Technology, Xie Zhihua, Vice President of Beijing Industrial and Commercial University, Shen Xiqiang, Chairman of Jiangsu Jacques Technology Co., Ltd., Li Jiapeng, Manager of Yihua (Shanghai) Investment Co., Ltd., Han Songqing, Manager of Kejua (China) Investment Co., Ltd., Li Yue, Manager of Yabao Chemical (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Wang Yuzhong, Professor of Sichuan University Li Bin, Vice President of Northeast Forestry University, Hu Yuan, Professor of China University of Science and Technology, Shen Kang, Chairman of Beijing Editake Technology Consulting Co., Ltd., and Yang Mingshu, researcher of Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, are 21 vice-chairmen of the Committee, and Zhou Zhengmao is elected Secretary-General of the Committee.
